How to use the right Japanese words for cooking

Japanese has many kinds of cooking style and each method has it’s own unique way of cooking the food. Learn how to distinguish the differences between these cooking methods in Japanese can be very useful for learning Japanese cooking recipes.

Let’s start with the most basic way of cooking and that’s to boil. The Japanese verb for boiling something in Japanese is waku. Waku means to cook something using water.

लंदन में निलाम हुए गांधी के पत्र

लंदन (भाषा) : राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गांधी के हस्तलिखित लेख और उनके हस्ताक्षरित पत्रों की लंदन में नीलामी की गई है। हाल ही में भारत ने गांधी के एक दुर्लभ पांडुलिपि को नीलामी से ठीक पहले हासिल कर लिया था।

इंग्लैंड की सोथबी संस्था द्वारा गांधी के लेखों और पत्रों की नीलामी की गई है। जिन पांडुलिपियों की नीलामी की गई, उनमें यंग इंडिया के लिए 1920 से 1940 के बीच लिखे गए 33 पृष्ठों के श्रृंखलाबद्घ लेख और हस्ताक्षरित 11 पत्र शामिल हैं। संस्था को इसके लिए 45,600 पाउंड की राशि हासिल हुई। Read the rest of this entry »

Train system-The Clean Machine

1183895639.jpgUpon arrival in Japan I was impressed with the train system. As a New Yorker I have been used to the nuances of a disorganized transportation system. Allow me to compare. The first thing you notice in the NY subway is the smell or rather the stench. The repulsive odor consists of rat droppings, trash, urine and the homeless. There is no such thing as ventilation. So imagine getting dressed going to work smelling fresh and clean then having to subject your fine wardrobe to the stench of this underworld. “No Surrender: My Thirty Year War” [japanese history]

The most famous of all Holdouts, his story was widly reported in the world media, and he wrote a book translated to English about his wartime experiences and 29 years as a Japanese holdout.

Born in the town of Kainan, Japan in 1922 and when he turned seventeen, he went to work for a trading company in China. In May of 1942, Onoda was drafted into the Japanese Army. Unlike most soldiers, he attended a school that trained men for guerilla warfare. Read the rest of this entry »

The dahals, a mediocre family,struggled to educate their children.Baburam in the school was a very active boy participating in all extra- curricular activities.Often,he would be sent to represent the school.Dramatics intrested him through the poetry which he began writing in his early teens drew futre.

In the early 90s,Baburam came to Kathmandu to seek his fortune,looking for an opportunity.He found a job as an assistan accounatant while training to be an actor.”Through theatre,I hoped to meet people,”he states.He did.He met Om prateek through whom he came to know of ‘clap’.
